Extrusions
ColorMatrix was a pioneer in the development of advanced liquid
color systems for the building and construction industry, covering
a wide range of end applications and polymers. ColorMatrix has been
providing high quality, low cost colorant and additive systems to
this market for over 25 years. To date, ColorMatrix continues to
provide processing, materials handling, quality and economical
benefits to its customer base.
ColorMatrix's liquid colorants are specifically formulated for
use in the following applications:
- NSF and non NSF PVC pipe and conduit,
- Injection molded PVC and ABS fittings,
- Vinyl siding and window profile extrusion,
- Cap stock or substrate applications requiring extreme weather
resistant pigments
ColorMatrix's offering also includes additives for applications
such as liquid dispersed blowing agents for use in PVC and ABS foam
core pipe.
The ColorMatrix Technical Centre uses state-of-the-art
spectrophotometric equipment to ensure fast color matching and
accurate, consistent lot-to-lot color quality control.
ColorMatrix's products perform on all types of extruders
including single, twin screw, parallel and conical. ColorMatrix
coloring systems include colorants, additives and the dosing
systems allowing administration of these products into the
extruder.
ColorMatrix's line of additives for the Extrusion industry
includes:
Enhancement of Productivity
- Eze™: Improve extrusion and conveyance
on production lines and help reducing equipment wear.
- ColorMatrix Blowing Agents: Enable the
production of regular cellular structures in extruded polymers
allowing for better fill, improved part strength and better surface
appearance.
- ColorMatrix Colorants: Allow for brand
differentiation.
Product Protection
- ColorMatrix Antimicrobial Agents: Enable the
control of microbial activity on part surface allowing for
elimination of issues linked to bacteria and better protection of
the polymer.
- ColorMatrix Anti-Oxidants: Preserve polymer
physical properties by limiting thermal and environmental
degradation.
