January 10, 2008 - ColorMatrix Grand Opening of ColorMatrix Plastic Colorant (Suzhou) Co. Ltd.

Suzhou, China, Jan. 10th 2007 - Yesterday The ColorMatrix Group Inc. celebrated the grand opening of its ColorMatrix Plastic Colorant (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. manufacturing and office facility in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China.

The event, celebrated in true Chinese style, included an auspicious lion dance and the traditional ribbon cutting ceremony - with an edge. The occasion was attended by Suzhou Government officials, ColorMatrix customers and the management and employees of The ColorMatrix Group.

On the opening of this new facility Mr. William Ravenna, Managing Director of ColorMatrix Europe and Asia, said: "I am very proud to present this state-of-the-art facility to the world. ColorMatrix's Asian customers have benefited from the company's know-how and service, managed from our commercial office in Hong Kong, since 1995; they will now further profit from the advantages the vicinity of the ColorMatrix manufacturing plant will grant: local production and speed of delivery. The Suzhou plant clearly demonstrates ColorMatrix's commitment to the Asia Pacific market".

Gerry Corrigan, the Chief Executive Officer of the ColorMatrix Group, added: "The Suzhou facility production, largely based on ColorMatrix's proprietary ABD system, the first integrated colour design and delivery concept to put colour development in the hands of the customer, will be instrumental in ColorMatrix revolutionising the way plastic colorants are manufactured and delivered: the system will shorten product development cycles from months or weeks to days or even hours".

In her address, Ms Eileen Wang, Souzhou New District's Administration Committee Vice Chairman said: "The Souzhou New District has been established 16 years ago and would not be what it is today if it were not for companies like ColorMatrix".

ColorMatrix Plastic Colorant (Suzhou) Co. is situated in the Jiangsu province, in the Suzhou New Dirstrict Industrial Park, one of the specially designated technological and industrial development parks of the region, about 100 kilometres from Shanghai. The plant occupies more than two thousands square meters and hosts, alongside the production plant itself, a colour-matching laboratory and offices.
