ColorMatrix employees are trained in ColorMatrix's comprehensive health and safety procedures which aim to protect ColorMatrix employees, the environment and the consumer.
The H&S training is inclusive of rigorous COSHH, CHIP 3 and HACCP procedures detailing protection and preventative measures to be taken in the work place to protect both employees and the environment.
COSHH
The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) is applied
internally to each raw material used within ColorMatrix's
processes. The system provides guidance as to how the material
should be handled safely and in case of an emergency.
CHIP 3
ColorMatrix has an automated CHIP 3 system generating Material
Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). CHIP 3 refers to Chemicals Hazard
Information and Packaging for Supply Regulations 2002. Material
Safety Data Sheets provide information to customers about the
hazard related to any given product.
HACCP
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) is a system that
allows the identification of contamination points within a process
and the preventative measure to control them.
This procedure is controlled within ColorMatrix by internal
audits.
