1993 January - ColorMatrix Europe is established. Initially focused on the supply of liquid colorants for PET preforms and bottles, ColorMatrix Europe currently supplies colorants and additives into the Packaging, Industrial Extrusion, Fiber and Performance Molding sectors.
1995 ColorMatrix Asia is established to provide and service the Asian continent.
2000 October - ColorMatrix Latin America is established to provide liquid colorants into the new world.
2002 May - ColorMatrix acquires the liquid colorant business of Metacol to strengthen its position in the European custom color market and to provide customers with enhanced level of color matching services.
2003 November - ColorMatrix CommTech is established in the Netherlands to support ColorMatrix's customers' technical needs.
2006 May - The ColorMatrix Group is established to further expand the business in the global marketplace.
2007 February - ColorMatrix purchases DosiColor, one of Latin America's colorant suppliers to the plastics industry, reinforcing its position into the Latin American market.
2007 April - ColorMatrix purchases The Colorant Chromatics Group to develop its activities into the niche market of high performance thermoplastics.
2008 January - ColorMatrix Plastic Colorant Co. Ltd is established in Suzhou, China, to manufacture locally the products aimed at the Asian market.
