advanced spectrophotometers to ensure rapid color matching and
accurate, consistent batch to batch color quality control.
Our technologies are formulated for use in:
• NSF and non-NSF PVC pipe and conduits
• Injection molded PVC fittings
• Vinyl sidings and other profile extrusions such as window
and furniture edging profiles
• Cap stock or substrate applications requiring extreme
weather resistant pigments
Foam Core Pipe and Sheets
Another first for ColorMatrix is in liquid
dispersed foaming agents for PVC Foam Core Pipe and Sheet. Our
technologies promote improved cell structure and lower densities
whilst maintaining performance and physical properties.
Exceptional control of pigment particle size and a slight lubricating effect on the liquid carrier reduces abrasion during extrusion and post-processing. This assists the production process, creates more consistent color performance and gives a smoother surface finish. For printed applications, this allows for significant improvements in print quality to be achieved.
Pigments and dyes are specifically selected to ensure maximum UV, light and weather fastness. Highly accurate dosing at low addition rates also provides exceptional color uniformity and greater processing flexibility. ColorMatrix's technologies perform effectively on single, twin screw, parallel and conical extruders.
ColorMatrix promote heavy metal-free formulations for PVC applications.
