ColorMatrix awarded "Highly Commended" for Packaging Innovation

ColorMatrix has been awarded Highly Commended in category Best New Packaging Innovation for Dairy Foods or Beverages in the 2011 Dairy Innovation Awards.

The International Dairy Federation has announced the finalists and winners of the 2011 IDF Dairy Innovation Award with a live broadcast on FoodBev.com at 13:00 CET today 18th October in coincidence with the marketing day during the World Dairy Summit in Parma, Italy.

This year’s awards attracted over 100 entries from 25 countries in 14 categories ranging from products, to packaging, marketing and environmental sustainability.  The judging panel included representatives from the The Dairy Council, the International Dairy Federation, the Dairy Innovation magazine

ColorMatrix was among the finalists and was "Highly Commended" for its Lactra barrier technology.

Lactra is a combination of a white colorant and a high performance UV and visible light barrier which delivers enhanced container aesthetics, product protection and extended shelf life for dairy beverages packaged in PET.

ColorMatrix is very proud of this recognition as it reinforces ColorMatrix profile as a major presence within the global dairy industry.
