COLORMATRIX INTRODUCES THREE NEW ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGIES AT CHINAPLAS 2011

ColorMatrix will be presenting its growing portfolio of liquid colorant and additive technologies at ChinaPlas 2011 under three key themes:  Colour, Performance and Sustainability.  Visitors to the ColorMatrix booth will learn more about the company’s latest advances in delivering its unique liquid colour systems, its additive solutions for improved performance in plastics, plus innovative technologies to help its customers create greener, more socially-responsible products.

As the leading global innovator in liquid colorants and additives for thermoplastic applications, ColorMatrix will be showcasing three important breakthrough technologies. Excelite, an advanced liquid foaming agent, will be featured. Developed for PVC foam sheet extrusion, Excelite reduces density and improves lightweighting for a better print finish, greater clarity and increased definition. A pioneering fibre delustrant, Mattenex, which enhances the quality of PET fibre while improving processing efficiencies, will also be featured. And, for improving long-term recyclability of PET containers, Joule RHB and SmartHeat re-heat additives have been developed to enable manufacturers to achieve a number of sustainability aims, as well as improved recyclability, to lower industrial energy costs and CO2 emissions.  Visitors will also learn about ColorMatrix’s other technologies that also support its customers’ sustainability aims include processing savings as well as reduced waste and inventory levels.
