ColorMatrix will present its latest innovative liquid color and additive technologies to the Russia and Eastern European Markets at the Interplastica Plastics and Rubber trade fair in Moscow from 25-28 January 2011.  

Highlights at the ColorMatrix stand (Hall Forum, FE62) will include recent innovations in PET Packaging barrier additives and technologies to engineered to facilitate recycling and more sustainable plastics processing. Some key features will include:

• Lactra® - a barrier additive for PET dairy applications, which provides high performance light-blocking at low addition rates
• Amosorb® SolO2 - an active oxygen scavenger plus barrier additive that protect beverages from O2 ingress, CO2 loss. For the beer market this is particularly valuable in enabling manufacturers to lightweight containers and reduce materials costs whilst maintaining product performance
• Excelite® liquid foaming (blowing) additive, developed for PVC foam sheet extrusion reduces density and enables lightweighting. It offers the additional benefit of a smoother surface finish providing a better print finish and increased definition.

An innovative online colour-matching system will also be previewed.

Experts from ColorMatrix’s Russian office will be available throughout the show to discuss these benefits as well as further advantages that liquid color and additives can bring to various plastics applications.
