ColorMatrix will deliver a paper at the 15th MBS Polyester & PET Chain Conference revealing details of a recent independent study comparing its latest advances in reheat additives with alternative reheat technologies.

With increasing volumes of containers entering the recycle stream already including large amounts of recycled material, the potential negative impact on the long-term aesthetic quality of PET deteriorates with each recycle trip.  A number of potential solutions to the issue of multi-trip processing have been identified, and one of these is improvements in reheat technology

ColorMatrix has invested heavily in the development PET resin enhancement technologies and will be able to share further details of these latest advances at the conference.

Dr Ian Appleyard will present the ColorMatrix paper which is entitled:
“Driving down Carbon Footprint in PET perform processing: An independent study of the latest reheat additive capabilities”
