ColorMatrix Europe has been accredited with the Investors in People standard since 1998 and its framework is now an integral part of our people management systems.
All new employees undergo a job related induction program and a structured probation period which provides both a support mechanism and a clear direction regarding expectations.
In 2009 ColorMatrix Europe launched 'Talent Management'
an improved objective setting and appraisal system using Oracle
Applications. The system provides a framework for setting,
cascading and reviewing SMART objectives - for both managers and
employees use.
Additionally a competency framework has been developed within the
system providing clear guidance with regards to knowledge, skill
and behaviour expectations. Initially focused on core
'generic' competencies the plan is to expand into
functional competencies in 2010.
To close the loop the system provides a template and scoring mechanism for assessing employee performance through an annual appraisal process.
ColorMatrix Europe greatly supports employees wanting to further their education, and in the past two years employees have been sponsored to complete PhD, MBA, Degree, NVQ Level 1 and 2, ECDL and DGSA to name a few.
Whilst training and development is actively encouraged, in line with our Company values employees are asked to take responsibility for their own development by actively preparing for appraisal meetings and identifying training and development needs that support achievement of team and individual objectives.
