ColorMatrix has developed symbiotic relationships with
customers, suppliers and several universities based in various
continents.
ColorMatrix supports its customers in terms of prompt delivery of
samples and products, color matches, technical support, customer
training, after sales support, IT solutions and joint development
projects.
It is estimated that 80% of all sales are repeat purchases whereas the remaining 20% are first time purchases. This is a strong indication that ColorMatrix customers are satisfied with the company's products, delivery performance, and technical and after sales service.
One of ColorMatix's values is to 'speak to its customers in their chosen language', that is why ColorMatrix's sales department representatives come from the very countries in which its customers are based.
ColorMatrix has been accredited with ISO 9001 and, as stipulated in this standard, when selecting suppliers ColorMatrix requires them to be accredited with an ISO quality standard too. If the supplier does not have this accreditation, he enters into an alternative qualification process based on delivery performance, price, service and quality criteria.
ColorMatrix maintains a strong relationship with its suppliers to ensure prompt delivery times to its customers. Relationships with partners and contractors are based on the requirement to improve raw material costs, supplier performance and also to improve technologies and understanding the application areas relevant to ColorMatrix's business. All suppliers enter into "Supplier Working Agreements" to ensure the fundamental aspects of supply performance on quality, delivery and supply continuity are maintained at a high standard. Further to ColorMatrix's standard supplier qualification process, the company is currently establishing a Preferred Supplier Relationship that will be covered by a qualification process of material suitability and performance, supply integrity, purity and regulatory status, plant and procedural audits and a review of the overall capability of the supplier to support ColorMatrix's technical and commercial objectives.
The active work taking place at technical level to introduce novel market solutions for ColorMatrix's customers is part of such a specific arrangement as far as supplier relationship is concerned. A second specific arrangement relates to key materials that will be supplied via detailed Supply Agreements to ensure the continuity of supply and the best commercial arrangements. This will ensure that ColorMatrix be able to meet and exceed its customers' needs whilst providing excellent service. Best Practice initiatives are being developed with suppliers to both improve performance and to target market initiatives. ColorMatrix's drive on Purity & Regulatory initiatives is one such example.
ColorMatrix's Site Audit procedures comprise of Social, Welfare and Environmental issues and are covered within all aspects of worker health arrangements, environmental performance and accreditation and local community initiatives.
